Children of secondary school age should be able to organise themselves for school and bring the necessary books and equipment to lessons. The following items are essential and should be brought to school on a daily basis:

  • A suitable bag or case for carrying books, PE Kit and equipment
  • A pen, pencil, ruler and eraser
  • Coloured pencils or felt tip pens
  • Mathematical equipment, including a scientific calculator, protractor and a pair of compasses
  • Pupils would also benefit from the availability at home of a good English dictionary, a French dictionary and standard reference books such as encyclopedias and atlases.

Protective aprons will be provided for Design Technology, Food Technology and Art lessons.
