There was a range of different transport this year, from a horse and cart to black limousines. |

The evening began with an excellent hot buffet which everyone thoroughly enjoyed, before dancing later on.

A memorable evening was also had by Yuwadee who celebrated her 18th birthday with a special cake! |

Enrichment Day saw Year 7 exploring the theme of Pirates and using music, drama, dance and art. To enter into the spirit of the day many students dressed up.
|
Omar was voted as the Best Dressed and certainly looked very convincing in his role!
|
In Art students constructed pirates using card and in Drama they enacted the story of Blackbeard. Traditional songs and dance brought the stories to life for everyone!

This year has been particularly exciting for students involved in the library, or with an interest in reading. Several Year 7 students visited the Harris Library this
|
term where they were able to listen to writers such as Anthony McGowan, discuss his novels and ask questions. In school Mrs Ainsworth, our librarian |
organised a visit to the school by the author Beverley Naidoo. Again students were treated to extracts from her novels and a fascinating talk!
