Walton-le-Dale Arts College and High School is celebrating a hugely rewarding and an extremely successful academic year! In May, Ofsted visited us and after spending time observing staff teaching and students learning in lessons, have designated us as "a good school."

system was recognised by Ofsted as one of the significant strengths of the school.

Mr Hill

Headteacher Mr Hill, seen above, was delighted by the report. He commented,
"We are very pleased with the report which recognises the fact that our students and staff work hard and achieve their best"
The inspectors found that students make good academic

progress and get good GCE results. They found our students to be well behaved and noted the strong positive relationships between the students and adults. Alongside this success, has come the equally wonderful news that
